My Concerns
We all have concerns that occupy more space in our minds than others. Here are mine.
I gave up sugar a few months ago and removed it completely from my diet. I try to make people question how widespread, and excessive, refined sugar has become in everyday food, whether in prepared meals or in desserts, coffee, snacks, and so on.
I do not drive and probably never will. I walk, cycle, and sometimes use public transport. I think we could do without fossil fuels and motorized vehicles for 90% of our daily journeys. I plan to write a book about it someday.
I do strength training. I am not trying to build big, impressive muscles like my friend Jimmy, but I maintain my body with daily bodyweight exercises. I also go to a gym for cardio and regularly attend free Fit Challenge sessions run through Herbalife.
I became familiar with zero waste after reading Béa Johnson's book on the subject. Every day, I try to sort properly and avoid unnecessary things. The hardest part is building good habits. There is always room for improvement, though: I plan to get a worm composter in the coming weeks.
Lately, I have been trying to reduce my material possessions to a minimum, but it is difficult: I have been collecting gadgets for years.
I may have forgotten a few, but each of these paragraphs could be expanded into its own article, or even its own category on the site.
Have a good day!
